Dawson Olive

This fly is one that I have had great success with. Its called a" Dawsons Olive", and can be fished on all kinds of fly lines, being particularly effective on an intermediate line. It is used by most of the fly fishermen in the north of England and is a must in the fly box. It works fished in fairly fast short pulls, as it represents a fry and is taken confidently by both Rainbows and Browns on all stillwaters.
