Second type of tippet (actually, it is the front part of a bigger tippet) I use for transformation of classic salmon flies into the Scandinavian style. Thin tippet is almost the same diameter as single hook size 2/0 -4/0, so you can tie nice body. These tippets also have tapered front, but a slightly different shape from first one. It also allows you to finish fly with perfect small head.

I use the third type to tie real small summer flies, which refer to normal hook size 10 to 12, and have body just 1/3 of inch, or none. Again, the tippets have finest tapering and can be used for tying conehead tube flies. You can use on them cones as small as size S or SS, and trebles down to size 14. They can be useful for summer grilse, sea-trout and big trout fishing.

I use the fourth type to build real "Jurassic Park" monster patterns for pike. Those flies have not been tried yet and are waiting for the coming spring. The tippets are conical all the way from the rear part to the front one. That's why they can be cut at any length, so you may adjust diameter of hook holder and front diameter to your needs. Can be used for big sea patterns.
