FOLDING WADING STICK - PERFORMANCE WITH PORTABILITY

The Älven Angling folding wading stick is made from heavy gauge alloy tubing for strength and security without unnecessary weight, but still strong enough for when you really need that vital extra support. It has been tried and tested under arduous conditions in Arctic Sweden, Labrador and the UK.

The stick folds for easy transport and when stored in the belt pouch it is close to hand and ready for use. The five sections are held in place by a double shockcord for reliability and durability. The stick is fitted with a comfortable, non-slip handgrip, attachment for a keeper/retrieval system (a simple lanyard is supplied) and has a weighted bottom which is fitted with a non-slip stud. An optional rubber sleeve can be fitted to the end of the stick to minimise noise.

An innovative feature is the provision of a self-adhesive, fluorescent red "high water" indicator. This can be placed on the stick a sensible distance below "high water" on your waders or at the maximum depth to which you wish to wade. When the water reaches the indicator, it is time to take care not to wade any deeper.
