Body: orange silk (Body is varnished)
Rib: fine oval silver tinsel
Wing: bunch of brown bear
Roof: bunch of teal
Throat: fine peacock
Head: yellow

Kola Fly 2

Hook: double, Mustad
Tail: GP crest and tippet
Butt: red silk and oval silver tinsel
Body: fluorescent green floss, belly yellow silk
Rib: oval silver tinsel
Wing: black bear
Roof: jungle cock
Sites: two fine grizzly cock feather
Throat: grizzly cock
Head: red

Kola Fly 9

Hook: double, Mustad
Tag: oval gold tinsel
Body: fluorescent yellow floss, belly yellow silk
Rib: oval gold tinsel and black thread in parallel
Wing: bunch of fibres from GP breast feather
Front hackle: ginger cock
Head: black thread and three turns of medium oval gold tinsel

Wing: bunch of badger and mix of magenta, blue, silver holo Angel hair
Roof: whole grey mallard feather
Throat: insect green cock fibres
Head: black

Kola Fly 12

Hook: double, LOOP black nickel
Tag: flat gold tinsel
Body: fluorescent green and ice blue silk
Rib: oval gold tinsel
Wing: bunch of white Arctic fox, bunch of yellow Arctic fox, bunch of black Arctic fox
Throat: yellow cock fibres

Kola Fly 13 (Bear fly)

Hook: double, LOOP black nickel
Tail: black bear
Body: black SLF dub
Waist: two turns of large silver tinsel
Wing: black bear
Throat: naturally black cock fibres
Head: black

Inventor Unknown. Original fly was presented by the president of Murmansk fly-fishing club Victor Il’in. The pattern has many variants. Here are two my variants.

Murmanskaja #1, variant 1

Hook: double, Partridge Salar, black
Tag: oval silver tinsel
Tail: teal
Body: rear 1/3: fluorescent green Lagartun mini flatbraid, front 2/3: black floss
Rib: oval silver tinsel
Body hackle: black cock
Wing: four strands of pearl flashabou, bunch of squirrel
Roof: two sections of teal feather
Front hackle: black cock
Head: black

Murmanskaja #1, variant 2

Hook: double, Partridge Salar, black
Tag: oval silver tinsel
Tail: GP crest and section from teal feather
Body: rear 1/3: fluorescent green floss, front 2/3: black floss
Rib: oval silver tinsel
Body hackle: black cock
Wing: two strands of pearl lazer flashabou, bunch of squirrel, two strands of pearl flashabou, bunch of black Arctic fox, a few strands of peacock

Wing: bunch of yellow Serebrjanka (Arctic fox), two strands of pearl flashabou (Krystal hair), bunch of green highlander Serebrjanka (Arctic fox), two strands of pearl flashabou (Krystal hair), bunch of black Arctic fox
Roof: two segments of teal or grey mallard
Throat: grey mallard
